Mangar Bani Adventure Camp

Mangar Bani is a sacred grove located in the Aravallis of Faridabad. Mangar Bani, which harbours rare animal and plant species, is recognised by ecologists as one of the last remaining examples of natural tropical forests in NCR. It is revered by local people and has been protected by them. Apart from being a green paradise, the Mangar Bani forest is the lungs for the heavily populated National Capital Region. A forested stretch that runs all the way from Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary in southeast Delhi via Gurgaon district to the Mewat region. The programme will give participants an insight into camping, various adventure activities (Burma bridge) rural sports, bit of trekking, team building and other aspects of camping. Inputs on Yoga/Meditation and photography shall also be shared. It’s an opportunity to meet friends and make new friends on the eve of New Year.

Inclusions (Simple vegetarian food shall be served, Food from breakfast of 28th December, 2019 to the breakfast of 29th December, 2019). There will be no charge for participants below 5 years and 50% charge for participants from 5 to 12 years and full above 12 years). Camping and other activities.
Exclusions Any kind of transport or anything not mentioned. However, members can have car pools.
Cancellations Charges
Other Important Instructions STEP takes every care for the safety of the participants during the trekking expeditions. However, it should not be held responsible in the event of any mishap and accident. Cancellations Charges: 10% if notice of cancellation is received 30 days, 25% on a notice between 15-29 days, 40% on a notice between 7-14 days before the commencement of programme. No fee is refundable on a notice of less than 7 days. PLEASE NOTE THAT ABOVE SCHEDULE IS TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE

Important Instructions
  • The participation is open to the members of “SOCIETY FOR TREKKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION”. To learn more about how to become a member of our society, please click here.
  • Fee is payable by cash/cheque/DD in favour of “SOCIETY FOR TREKKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION” payable at New Delhi. Rs.250/- will be charged extra for dishonoured cheque and such members will have to pay fee by cash or DD only.
  • The members can also deposit fee in our Saving Bank A/c No. 012900 0100526284 with Punjab National Bank, Minto Road Branch, New Delhi and send us the scan/photo copy of deposit slip.
  • The desirous participants shall apply in prescribed participation form along with necessary risk certificate/medical certificate.
  • Please note that dates, schedule, duration, fee of any programme is subject to change without any notice.
  • The Management Committee reserves the right to reject any application for Membership/Participation without assigning any reasons thereof.
