Sat, 28 Aug Delhi to Haridwar/Rishikesh by Night AC bus (6 -7hours) 200/225 kms
Sun, 29 Aug Haridwar/Rishikesh to Devgram (6500 ft) by bus/jeeps (10 hrs). Homestay with villagers 280 kms
Mon, 30 Aug In the morning, visit to Urgam valley, thereafter, trek to Fulanrayan (8000 ft) via Kalpeshwar and back. To be used as Acclimatization for high altitude trek. 2 km/6 kms
Tue, 31 Aug Trek to Gorthein Kharak (9000 ft), its climb till Dharamshila, then descend to the camp – 5-6 hrs 8 kms
Wed, 01 Sep Trek to Lohdi Top (11000 ft) – 6-7 hrs 8 kms
Thu, 02 Sep Trek to Chenap valley camp (13,300’) – 6-7 hrs 10 kms
Fri, 03 Sep Exploring the Chenap valley and nearby areas 6 kms
Sat, 04 Sep Trek to Dubatta Kharak camp (11.000’) – 4-5 hrs 8 kms
Sun, 05 Sep Trek to Thaing village – Chaien village transfer to Joshimath by jeeps 10 kms & 20 kms

Inclusions inclusive of travel. Accidental group insurance, simple/tented accommodation and vegetarian meals
Exclusions doesnot include personal porterage. Participants are expected to carry their own rucksacks
Cancellations Charges 10% if notice of cancellation is received 30 days, 25% on a notice between 15-29 days, 40% on a notice between 7-14 days before the commencement of programme. No fee is refundable on a notice of less than 7 days.
Other Important Instructions PLEASE NOTE THAT this is a new trek, hence distances and altitude are approximate and indicative. We shall be camping in higher altitudes as per the permission granted by the Forest Department. Present camps are indicative and may change as per the permission. Please carry enough masks, gloves and sanitizer during trek and keep social distancing during travel and trek and Government instructions prevalent at that time. STEP takes every care for the safety of the participants during the trekking expeditions. However, it should not be held responsible in the event of any mishap and accident.

  • The participation is open to the members of “SOCIETY FOR TREKKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION”. To learn more about how to become a member of our society, please click here.
  • Fee is payable by cash/cheque/DD in favour of “SOCIETY FOR TREKKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION” payable at New Delhi. Rs.250/- will be charged extra for dishonoured cheque and such members will have to pay fee by cash or DD only.
  • The members can also deposit fee in our Saving Bank A/c No. 012900 0100526284 with Punjab National Bank, Minto Road Branch, New Delhi and send us the scan/photo copy of deposit slip.
  • The desirous participants shall apply in prescribed participation form along with necessary risk certificate/medical certificate.
  • Please note that dates, schedule, duration, fee of any programme is subject to change without any notice.
  • The Management Committee reserves the right to reject any application for Membership/Participation without assigning any reasons thereof.
