STEP warmly welcomes following new Associate Members:- 1. Shri Gajanan Karhade: He is from Thane, Maharashtra. He has done quite a bit of trekking especially in Nepal like Manalsu Circuit etc. He is also participating in STEP's forthcoming "Mandhani Valley High Altitude Trekking Expedition" scheduled in May, 2018. STEP thanks Shri Rajendra Dave, Life Member for introducing Shri Gajanan Karhade. 2. Shri C. Ramadoss: He is from Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu. He is retd senior section engineer from S.Rly Trichy. He came to know about STEP while registering in Dept of pension and pensioners ' welfare. STEP is one of the earliest partners in Government's initiative namely 'SANKALP". He is also a scout and interested in health, pilgrimage, trekking, natural resources. 3. Shri Sunil R. Kamble: He is from Mumbai. He has done Basic and Advance course in Mountaineering.He is climbed Shitidar Peak, Ladakhi Peak, Kedardome etc. He has undergone trekking like Everest Base Camp/Kala Pathar, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra (both traditonal route and via Nepal), Shrikhand Mahadev Trek, Manimahesh Trek, Chader Trek, Mt. Kanamao, Kangla Pass, Annapurna Circuit, Tungnath-Chandrashila Trek and several challenging Sahyadri Treks. He is working in BARC, Mumbai. 4. Shri Arun Kumar Rao: He is also from Mumbai and working in BARC. He has done Basic course in Mountaineering and few Himalayan and Sahyadri Treks. 5. Shri Mandar Todankar: He is also from Mumbai and working in BARC. He has done Basic course in Mountaineering. He has done Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, Chader Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Kinner Kailash Yatra and Manimanimahesh and few other Himalayan and Sahyadri Treks. STEP thanks Ms. Sushma Singh and Mr. Narendra Nalawade, very active STEP members for introducing members at S.No.3,4 and 5 above. All three shall also be participating in STEP's forthcoming "Mandhani Valley High Altitude Trekking Expedition" scheduled in May, 2018. STEP welcomes all above members into STEP family.
