Friendship Peak (5289 metres) Trek is a challenging peak which spectacular views from the top. Mount Friendship Peak is the ultimate challenge for trekkers and the reward is the panoramic views which is a treat for eyes. People with previous trekking experience for trekking upto 5000 metres may be considered.

Date & Day Particulars
Sun, 16 Jun Reporting at Arrival in Base camp at Village Chheti (1900 mtrs) near Naggar. Participants will be picked up from Patlikuhl in the morning. Rest and acclimatization.
Mon, 17 Jun Drive from Base Camp to Dhundi and Trek to Bakarthach/Luhali thach (3300 mtrs) - 4-5 hrs 40 kms drive. 7 kms trek
Tue, 18 Jun Bakarthatch/Luhali Thatch to Lady Leg Base Camp (3800 mtrs) and Training – 4-5 hrs 5 kms
Wed, 19 Jun Practice, Acclimatization and Move to Summit Camp (4200 mtrs). 4 kms
Thu, 20 Jun Summit Camp to Friendship Peak Summit (5289 mtrs) and Back to Lady Leg Base Camp – 11-12 hrs 14 kms up and down
Fri, 21 Jun Reserve Day
Sat, 22 Jun Lady Leg Base Camp to Dhundi and Drive to Base camp Chheti 12 kms trek/ 40 kms drive
Sun, 23 Jun Check out after breakfast

Inclusions inclusive of travel ex-base camp, accidental group insurance, simple accommodation in homestays and tents, equipments, guide and vegetarian meals
Exclusions Doesnot include personal porterage or anything not included in the inclusions.
Cancellations Charges Cancellations Charges: 10% if notice of cancellation is received 30 days, 25% on a notice between 15-29 days, 40% on a notice between 7-14 days before the commencement of programme. No fee is refundable on a notice of less than 7 days.
Other Important Instructions STEP takes every care for the safety of the participants during the trekking expeditions. However, it should not be held responsible in the event of any mishap and accident. It's a tough trek meant for seasoned and experienced trekkers only.

Important Instructions
  • The participation is open to the members of “SOCIETY FOR TREKKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION”. To learn more about how to become a member of our society, please click here.
  • Fee is payable by cash/cheque/DD in favour of “SOCIETY FOR TREKKING AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION” payable at New Delhi. Rs.250/- will be charged extra for dishonoured cheque and such members will have to pay fee by cash or DD only.
  • The members can also deposit fee in our Saving Bank A/c No. 012900 0100526284 with Punjab National Bank, Minto Road Branch, New Delhi and send us the scan/photo copy of deposit slip.
  • The desirous participants shall apply in prescribed participation form along with necessary risk certificate/medical certificate.
  • Please note that dates, schedule, duration, fee of any programme is subject to change without any notice.
  • The Management Committee reserves the right to reject any application for Membership/Participation without assigning any reasons thereof.
